Liubao tea belongs to dark tea and is named after its origin in Liubao Town, Cangwu County, Wuzhou, Guangxi，China. Its quality is known for its “red, strong, aged, and mellow” characteristics, and it flourished in the Tang and Song dynasties and flourished in the Ming and Qing dynasties. Liubao tea is a famous “overseas tea” in Chinese history, with a history of more than 1500 years. The production techniques of Liubao tea were included in the national intangible cultural heritage list in 2014.
